About The Position

Tryfacta is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry for a client in Glendale, California. This is a 13-week contract assignment on the night shift, scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a pay rate of $60–$65 per hour. The nurse will provide care in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units and must be comfortable floating between them. Epic EMR experience and acute care experience are required. Requirements

Active California RN license.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Epic EMR experience is mandatory.
Must be comfortable floating between Medical-Surgical (MS) and Telemetry units.
Acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

Assess patients' health conditions and monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient status.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
Provide nursing care to patients in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units, as assigned.
Monitor ECG readings, recognize changes in cardiac rhythms, and promptly report critical findings.
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using the Epic EMR system.
Follow patient safety standards, infection control protocols, and established nursing guidelines.
Coordinate patient transfers and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
