Registered Nurse (RN) - Tele-Stroke Neuroscience
About The Position
This fully remote position involves providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process. The Registered Nurse (RN) will deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures, utilizing evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills. The role focuses on creating the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. The Telestroke RN works collaboratively with the medical team to coordinate appropriate care for acute stroke patients via virtual care. The position is located in the Greater Charlotte Market and requires the ability to deploy to a local Atrium facility if needed.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- At least 5 years of RN experience
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NIHSS certification
