About The Position
Wilson Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for their Behavioral Health unit. This PRN, Variable position is vital to the mission of making communities healthier. The role involves utilizing specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator, shaping exceptional patient journeys and leveraging skills and technology to impact patient wellbeing. The position is within a 19-bed Adult Behavioral Health Unit that treats a variety of diagnoses including Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and substance use disorder (SUD). Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.
Requirements
- Current state RN license
- Nursing degree from an accredited program
- Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
- One year of RN experience required
