About The Position

Beacham Memorial/Freedom Behavioral is accepting resumes for a PRN Registered Nurse in its Psych unit. The RN works under the direct supervision of the unit nurse manager and receives delegated assignments to support quality patient care. The RN must provide care appropriate to the ages of the patients served, understand growth and development principles, assess and interpret information reflecting each patient’s status and age-specific needs, and provide the required care.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse license in good standing with the State of Mississippi.
• CPR certification.
• Knowledge of growth and development principles and the ability to assess patient status and determine age-specific care needs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out delegated assignments to achieve quality patient care.
• Provide care appropriate to the ages and age-specific needs of patients served.
• Assess and interpret information reflecting patients’ status and care requirements.
