About The Position
Beacham Memorial/Freedom Behavioral is accepting resumes for a PRN Registered Nurse for its psychiatric unit. The RN works under the direct supervision of the unit nurse manager and receives delegated assignments to provide quality patient care. The RN must provide age-appropriate care, understand growth and development principles, assess information reflecting each patient's status, interpret the information needed to identify age-specific requirements, and provide the necessary care. Requirements
- Hold a Registered Nurse license in good standing with the State of Mississippi.
- Be CPR certified.
- Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality patient care in the psychiatric unit under the direct supervision of the unit nurse manager.
- Provide care appropriate to the ages of patients served and apply knowledge of growth and development principles.
- Assess data reflective of patient status and interpret information to identify age-specific care requirements.
- Provide the care needed to meet patients' identified requirements.
