About The Position

AHC - Home Health Southern Maryland is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) servicing our Southern Maryland Territory, who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, intervention & evaluation of patient care in the home to achieve patient goals. This includes documentation of patient care and outcomes (electronic if applicable), delegation and supervision of tasks for Home Health Aides and LPNs, serving as a support to new staff or students, participating in quality initiatives, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team in patient care planning. The role also requires pursuing professional development and growth, and meeting standards set by the agency demonstrating flexibility, commitment and adaptability.

Requirements

Graduation from of an accredited nursing program
2 years full-time experience in acute care
1 year of Home Health experience required
Current Maryland State nursing license
Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance that meets agency requirements
Certification in specialty once qualified

Responsibilities
