Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
Giving Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide personalized care to a patient in their residence in the Denver, Colorado area. The role involves administering patient care according to a physician-established plan of care and is offered as a 1099 contract opportunity. The position offers 12-hour shifts on days or nights, with a flexible schedule. Compensation is $50–$58 per hour for RNs and $35–$43 per hour for LPNs; stated rates are based on experience. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available, paid in two installments subject to visit and time requirements. Offers are contingent upon passing a background check.
Requirements
- Current state or Compact license as a Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR certification.
- Maintain required insurance.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Dependable transportation and willingness to commute to the patient’s home.
- Ability to provide basic medical management through medically fragile end-of-life care.
Responsibilities
- Execute physician-prescribed plans of care.
- Complete compliant documentation of care in the system of record.
- Conduct patient assessments in coordination with the care plan.
- Perform activities associated with daily living.
- Monitor changes in the patient’s condition, including weight changes, self-care abilities, and indicators of disease progression.
- Communicate with family members, physicians, case managers, and other prescribed individuals regarding patients’ health.
Benefits
- $2,000 sign-on bonus: $1,000 after 15 visits and 30 days, and an additional $1,000 after 20 more visits and 90 days.
