Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
Giving Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home care to a patient in the Arvada, Colorado area. The nurse will administer care in accordance with a physician-established plan. This is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care provided in the patient’s residence. The schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Fridays and Sundays. Compensation is $50–$58 per hour for RNs and $35–$43 per hour for LPNs. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered: $1,000 after 15 visits and 30 days, and an additional $1,000 after 20 more visits and 90 days. Offers are contingent on passing a background check. Requirements
- Current state or compact license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current CPR certification.
- Maintain required insurance.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Dependable transportation and willingness to commute to the patient’s home.
- Ability to provide basic medical management up to medically fragile end-of-life care.
- Pass a background check; offers are contingent upon passing.
Responsibilities
- Execute physician-prescribed plans of care.
- Complete compliant documentation of care in the system of record.
- Perform activities associated with daily living.
- Monitor changes in the patient’s condition, including weight changes, self-care abilities, and indicators of disease progression.
- Communicate with family members, physicians, case managers, and other prescribed individuals regarding patients’ health.
- Provide care ranging from basic medical management to medically fragile end-of-life care.
