About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Operating Room. The role involves a combination of clinical responsibilities along with collaboration among a multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in circulating for heavy orthopedic, urology, spine procedures, and robotic surgeries.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an Operating Room setting.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Illinois.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Additional related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine their mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate an individualized plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Provide explanations and instructions to patients and their responsible persons.
• Utilize nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient conditions.
• Manage conflict and contribute to a positive workplace environment through professional communication skills.
• Ensure adherence to Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care.
• Participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance clinical skills.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
