About The Position
This is a 13-week assignment for a Registered Nurse (RN) working nights at a specialty hospital. The position offers a pay rate of $60 per hour and opportunities for growth and advancement, flexible scheduling, an employee bonus referral program, and supportive leadership. The Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing, and supervising care to patients. This includes interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching, and accessing community resources. The role may also involve performing Charge Nurse duties, which requires ACLS certification.
Requirements
- Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
- BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
- Utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
- Planning, coordinating, and providing patient care.

- Accessing community resources.
- May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).
