About The Position

This is an internal 13-week assignment position offering $60 per hour, suitable for individuals who do not require benefits but wish to stay local. Requirements

  • Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
  • Current BLS certification is required.
  • Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
  • Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
  • Plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources.
  • May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).
