About The Position
Sentara CarePlex Hospital located in Hampton, VA is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical Oncology Unit. This is a Flexi - PRN Shift - Days position. The Medical Oncology Unit at Sentara CarePlex is a 16-bed unit that specializes in providing exceptional care for Solid Tumor Oncology, Hematology Oncology, and Surgical Oncology patients. As an RN on this unit, you will provide services such as Chemotherapy/Biotherapy drug administration, Pre/Post-Surgical Care, Hospice and Palliative Care, and Sickle Cell Management. As a Registered Nurse with Sentara, you can excel in your career with opportunities for learning and professional growth in Oncology. This position's primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. Requirements
- Certification in Chemotherapy/Biotherapy required after 6-months of hire.
