About The Position
Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN)- Labor & Delivery (L&D) for a 13-week travel assignment in Pittsfield, MA. This role involves providing care to mothers and newborns, adhering to high standards of care for breastfeeding mothers and their babies, based on the Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding recommended by the WHO and UNICEF.
Requirements
- 2 years current L & D experience
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
- ACLS, NRP and BLS MUST BE IN HAND AT PROFILE UPLOAD. PLEASE INCLUDE IN PROFILE. FACILITY WILL NOT PEND UPON OFFER - This is non-negotiable
- Perm address must be included with profile
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment
- Must have Massachusetts license
- Must have active American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS
- Must have active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
- Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong communication, professionalism, and reliability
- Drug screen and background check (facility required)
- Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned
Responsibilities
- Monitor the mother and baby's vital signs throughout labor and delivery
- Administer medications and pain relief as required
- Provide education and emotional support to the mother and family
- Assist with labor-inducing procedures and techniques
- Prepare and maintain delivery rooms and equipment
- Assist obstetricians and midwives during delivery
- Perform postpartum care and monitor recovery
- Recognize and respond to complications or emergencies
- Document medical records and update patient charts
- Educate new mothers on newborn care practices
