About The Position

UP Health System - Marquette is hiring a part-time Hospital Supervisor RN. The role helps coordinate hospital operations and staffing while supporting staff and ensuring quality services and compliance with organizational requirements. The schedule is four varied 12-hour shifts (7–7), including weekend and holiday rotations, for 0.6 FTE or 48 hours per pay period. The position is nonexempt.

Requirements

• Current Michigan RN license.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP).

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred.
• Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine, coordinate, and supervise daily staffing assignments and levels.
• Provide direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
• Perform or assist with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Assess and ensure the quality of services delivered and facilitate staff development programs.
• Ensure staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Perform staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.
• Lead the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
