About The Position

The GI Pain Management Department at Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery is a self-contained outpatient department providing pain management, endoscopy, and lithotripsy procedures. This fast-paced environment offers a great team atmosphere with opportunities for cross-training and career development. The role involves preparing patients, performing procedures, and managing recovery. The department operates Monday-Fridays with no weekends or holidays.

Requirements

  • Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree of Nursing.
  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • RN – Registered Nurse upon hire.
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire.
  • PALS – Pediatric Advance Life Support within 90 days of hire.
  • CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days.
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree of Nursing.
  • Experience in a procedural area (pre, procedure, recovery).
