About The Position
Southwoods Health is seeking a flexible, clinical-minded Registered Nurse to join our Urology team. This unique role rotates across our three Urology practices, acting as a vital link between physicians and patients to ensure seamless, high-quality care.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio (Required).
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (Required).
- 3+ years of experience in a physician’s office or ambulatory setting (Required); EMR experience preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities across multiple clinic sites.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (Preferred).
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with specialized urological procedures and manage complex clinical treatment schedules.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for medical concerns, triage patient inquiries, and process prescription refills via EMR.
- Track diagnostic test results, communicate findings to patients per physician orders, and coordinate follow-up care.
- Perform Point of Care (POC) testing and ensure necessary orders, labs, and reports are compiled for hospital procedures.
- Complete Environment of Care (EOC) rounds and maintain strict compliance with OSHA and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards.
