About The Position

The Behavioral Health Registered Nurse assesses patients, plans care within established timeframes, and documents findings in accordance with policies. The RN demonstrates leadership by delegating duties such as facilitating groups, close observation, and meal supervision. The nurse also oversees staff to ensure nursing policies and procedures are followed and that exemplary patient care is consistently delivered by the RN and all team members. Medication administration must follow hospital policy.

This is a full-time, night-shift position with a 3x12 schedule from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. and rotating weekend shifts. The role is based at El Dorado Springs Behavioral Health, a behavioral health hospital in Tucson, Arizona, serving adults and seniors through inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance use treatment.

Requirements

• Current Arizona or compact multistate RN license.
• Associate degree from an accredited nursing school.
• At least 21 years of age.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• De-escalation certification required, or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
