About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Rehabilitation - Med/Surg for a 13-week travel assignment in Windsor, VT. This role combines medical-surgical nursing with intensive rehabilitation, focusing on patients recovering from surgery, serious illness, or injury to restore function and independence through therapies (physical, occupational, speech) and specialized medical/nursing care, often in an inpatient setting, aiming to improve quality of life by treating the whole person. The assignment is for 12-hour night shifts with a 36-hour guarantee, starting on 8/3/2026. The hourly pay is $29.70 with a non-taxed stipend of $1246.00, resulting in a weekly total pay of $2047.90. Weekend and holiday requirements are every other weekend/holidays if needed. The EMR system used is Cerner, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 to 4/5. Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible. The position requires 8 hours of non-billable orientation. Travelers requesting schedule accommodations or working in conjunction with another assignment are not eligible. Requested time off must be noted and verified at upload, with a maximum of 5 days accepted. This is a Med/Surg position, and block scheduling will not be considered. A personal vehicle is a firm requirement due to the lack of public transport in the community.

Requirements

  • 2 years recent Med Surg & Rehab experience
  • Willing to float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg
  • Willing to float to other units as needed (within scope of practice)
  • CHARGE RN EXPERIENCE [REQUIRED]
  • Previous Travel (at least 3 months) - [Required]
  • New Hampshire RN license or Compact - Must be uploaded with profile
  • Must have and maintain current Active American Heart Association ACLS
  • Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association during employment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently

Responsibilities

  • May be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse
