About The Position

PCU RN for observations unit- fast paced environment with changing patient acuity. May be required to float to other areas of competency. Nurses to staff 28-bed Inpatient Observation Unit near the ED. Medical beds, Trama overflow beds. Lower to higher acuity patients and mid holds.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in specialty in an acute care setting.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required.
• PALS required.

Nice To Haves

• TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff a 28-bed Inpatient Observation Unit.
• Manage medical and trauma overflow beds.
• Care for patients with lower to higher acuity and mid holds.
• Float to other areas of competency as needed.
