About The Position

Essentia Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as a Prenatal Care Specialist in our OB/GYN Clinic at our 32nd Avenue Building in Fargo, North Dakota. This RN works on a casual, as-needed basis, picking up shifts to support the needs of the facility and patients, assisting with new OB intake visits, phone triage, patient education, and care coordination.

Requirements

• BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
• Current RN license with the North Dakota State Board of Nursing upon hire.
• Minnesota RN license required within 3 months of hire.
• AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health.
• Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated.
• Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.
