About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking passionate, experienced nurses to join their team and collaborate with top medical professionals in the Cardiac Cath Lab. This role supports the Cardiac Cath lab and Interventional Radiology, involving bedside cardiac procedures. The Cardiac Cath Lab is equipped with 6 labs shared with EP & IR and specializes in minimally invasive cardiac care for a wide variety of adult patients. The team fosters a supportive and collaborative environment, emphasizing a strong team culture. Responsibilities include supporting the patient during procedures by administering sedation and closely monitoring patients. A limited radiography license course will be provided after orientation. Requirements

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN)
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies
• Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
