About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking passionate and experienced nurses to join their team in the Postpartum unit at IU Health Bloomington. This unit is part of the Perinatal & Pediatric Services and features 24 private rooms with an average 1:3 couplet nurse-to-patient ratio. The unit also cares for low-risk antepartum patients. Requirements

  • Associates of Nursing (ASN)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. (Exceptions: Candidates with more than two years of acute care experience may be considered, subject to CNO review and approval).
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

  • Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
