About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking passionate and experienced nurses to join their team. The Postpartum unit at IU Health Bloomington is part of the Perinatal & Pediatric Services and features 24 private rooms with an average 1:3 couplet nurse-to-patient ratio, also caring for low-risk antepartum patients. Requirements

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN).
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. (Exceptions: Candidates with over two years of acute care experience may be considered if approved by the Chief Nursing Officer).
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
