About The Position

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Registered Nurse - Physical Medicine - Tramatic Brain Injury (TBI) at Naval Medical Center San Diego in California. This position offers full time, Monday - Friday, between 0700 - 1700 hours. Shifts provided on Monday through Friday will normally be scheduled for an 8.5-to-9-hour period, to include an uncompensated 30-to-60-minute lunch break, respectively. There are no Federal Holidays or Weekends. This is an opportunity to care for our Military men and women. You will work directly with medical case management for patients who require intensive services. You will collaborate with the TBI multidisciplinary team members to resolve issues related to patient care, communication, policies, and resources. You will also assist in establishing and maintaining liaison with appropriate community agencies and organizations. Serves as a resource to patients and their families to provide education, guidance and resources both in the MTF and community settings.

Requirements

  • Possess a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or an Associate Degree in Nursing or a Diploma from a Nursing Program accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
  • Possess a minimum of 1 year experience
  • Graduate from a college or university accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
  • Current, full, active and unrestricted license to practice as a clinic nurse in any state, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico or US Virgin Islands.
