About The Position

Matrix Providers is seeking qualified neurologists, psychiatrists, or physicians to join our provider network as an Independent Contractor. This role focuses on conducting traumatic brain injury (TBI) exams as well as general medicine disability exams. There is no treatment or prescribing involved, and an office will be provided. This is an opportunity to provide a meaningful service for veterans, diversify your income, and work with a user-friendly system that offers support, training, and expert guidance.

Requirements

Doctorate Degree in Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine
An active and unrestricted license
Board Certified or Board Eligible in neurology or psychiatry
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
Own Malpractice Insurance
Medical License (Required)
BC/BE (Required)

Responsibilities

Conduct traumatic brain injury (TBI) exams and general medicine disability exams.
Apply clinical expertise in the evaluation and diagnosis of traumatic brain injury conditions to support a Veteran's disability claim.
Gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical and military record review, diagnostic testing, interviews with Veterans, and face-to-face examinations.
Develop a medical opinion on the likelihood that the Veteran's condition is related to their military service.
Review and submit reports in a timely manner.
