About The Position

Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California, is a 120-bed acute-care hospital with the region's only Pediatric Emergency Services team provided by board-certified Rady Children’s emergency medicine physicians. Rancho Springs Hospital also provides the area's only OB/Emergency Department program, offering expectant mothers 24/7 on-site OB/GYN physician coverage. The Childbirth Center at Rancho Springs Hospital is the largest in the region and features spacious, family-friendly private suites. Rancho's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is operated by Rady Children’s. Staff Registered Nurses are responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, providing assessments, treatment, and care on assigned units. They will provide care for patients throughout the continuum of care, including management of pain, invasive lines, and surgical drains. Staff Registered Nurses will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal, and hospital policies, and consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospitals’ Core Values and the hospitals mission statement.

Requirements

• 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse in Labor/Delivery & Nursery and Couplet Care required
• California RN license
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (Successful completion of course every two years)
• Advanced NRP (Successful completion of course of the AAP and AHA)
• ACLS
• BLS
