About The Position

The Registered Nurse - PCU works in the facility’s Progressive Care Unit. The schedule must be flexible to facility scheduling; schedule requests cannot be requested, approved, or accommodated. Weekend work is every other weekend, with no call. The nurse may float within the facility as needed, within their scope of practice. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Orientation includes non-billable hours determined by contract length (for example, 8 hours for an 8-week assignment or 10 hours for a 10-week assignment).

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience.
• Must be flexible to facility scheduling; schedule requests cannot be accommodated.
• Full compliance is required to start on time. If compliance is not completed in time, the start is pushed back by 2 weeks because orientation is held biweekly.
• Major-holiday work requirements depend on how many major holidays fall within the assignment: work the holiday if one falls in the assignment; work both if two fall in the assignment; work two if three fall in the assignment.
