About The Position
Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is hiring a seasonal Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a six-month temporary assignment. The role provides safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy, with Patient Centered Care as the foundation for nursing care. The nurse provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, demonstrates Service Excellence standards, and performs other duties as assigned. The listed schedule is 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and the pay rate is $60.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification at time of hire.
- Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License.
- At least two years of critical care RN experience.
- For ICU/PCU: NIH certification within 90 days of start date.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills.
