About The Position

Lead the transition of care by providing expert clinical monitoring as patients emerge from anesthesia, ensuring a safe and steady bridge from the operating room to recovery. Advocate for patient comfort by proactively managing complex pain and post-operative symptoms, directly improving the healing experience and recovery timeline. Anticipate clinical needs by applying your deep understanding of surgical procedures and physiology to stay two steps ahead of potential complications before they arise. Uphold the highest safety standards by maintaining a pristine, sterile environment and following evidence-based practices that protect our patients from infection and harm. Evaluate and evolve care plans by continuously assessing patient responses to interventions, allowing you to make real-time adjustments that lead to the best possible health outcomes.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.
  • Experience in post op surgical patients preferred.
