As a member of the Surgical System team, you will be responsible for all aspects of nursing care and provision of services in the Outpatient Procedure Suite (OPS) Day Surgery Department and OPS Procedure Department. Your responsibilities in OPS Day Surgery will include admission of and post-operative (phase I & II) recovery of both adult and paediatric surgical patients as well as endoscopic procedures (colonoscopy, gastroscopy, urology, ERCP, and bronchoscopy). Your responsibilities on OPS Procedure unit will include endoscopy related procedures (colonoscopy, gastroscopy, ERCP and bronchoscopy) and minor surgical procedures from the urologic, plastic and ear/nose/throat specialities. You will be actively participating in patient safety and patient advocacy throughout the care experience while working in an interprofessional team environment.
