About The Position

Registered Nurse - OR travel assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Specialty: Operating Room. Start date: 08/25/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,469-$2,501 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week. Shift: 4x10-hour rotating days with on-call evenings/nights/weekends. Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment in a hospital perioperative environment, focusing on intraoperative patient care.

Requirements

Current Colorado RN license or compact RN license in good standing.
BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field.
Ability to work in an OR setting and participate in a 4x10-hour shift schedule with rotating on-call responsibilities.
Radius rule: traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care for patients during the intraoperative phase of the perioperative process.
Prepare operating rooms, ensure sterile technique, assist with instrument handling, and manage counts with the surgical team.
Monitor patient status intraoperatively, respond to physiological changes, and provide support to anesthesia and the surgical team.
Administer medications and perform interventions per policy, while documenting care accurately.
Coordinate with the circulating nurse and anesthesia team to promote patient safety and efficient workflow; maintain equipment and room readiness.
