Registered Nurse or LPN - Forest Hills
About The Position
ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) is hiring an Allergy Nurse for its Forest Hills office. The role provides care to patients of all ages in a supportive environment that promotes professional growth and teamwork. The position may be filled by an RN or LPN; new graduates are welcome to apply. Hourly rates are $33.09 for LPNs, $40 for RNs, and $42.68 for BSNs. The schedule is Monday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Tuesday 8:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Wednesday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Thursday 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., and Friday 7:45 a.m.–12:15 p.m. Saturday hours are 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. when the physician has hours. The schedule may change based on the physician’s schedule.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Competence working with computers.
Responsibilities
- Administer allergy injections and monitor patients.
- Perform food, environmental, venom, drug, and chemical allergy testing.
- Conduct pulmonary function testing.
- Assist the physician with patient care.
- Complete administrative tasks, including insurance approvals, data entry, and restocking clinical supplies.
- Respond to patient calls and messages.
