About The Position

Juniper Communities is hiring an LPN for a senior living community. The role manages day-to-day health and wellness operations to support residents’ functioning, safety, and wellbeing. The LPN provides medication administration and documentation, monitors residents’ condition and vital signs, assists with activities of daily living, performs basic medical care, and communicates with residents, families, medical professionals, and the multidisciplinary team.

This is a full-time evening-shift position. The role requires availability every other weekend. Starting pay is $30. Requirements

• LPN (required).
• Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
• Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology.
• Perfect physical condition and stamina.
• Availability to work every other weekend.

Nice To Haves

• BLS certification (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the community’s health and wellness component to support resident functioning, safety, and wellbeing.
• Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.
• Observe residents under treatment to identify progress and medication side effects.
• Monitor and record vital signs.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as necessary.
• Administer prescribed medications and injections, provide wound care, and perform other basic medical care tasks.
• Collect laboratory samples.
• Communicate with team members, residents, families, and medical professionals.
• Work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
