About The Position
Juniper Communities is seeking a Cook for a full-time position in senior living. The Cook assists the Executive Chef/Dining Services Director with meal preparation and provides excellent customer service to residents, associates, and visitors. The role includes supporting dining-team communication, contributing to special-event planning, maintaining records and paperwork, and following safety regulations. Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Experience in culinary arts or food service.
- Knowledge of volume food preparation.
- Knowledge of and ability to operate food service equipment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare meals for residents, associates, and visitors.
- Assist in coordinating effective communication among the dining team and resident assistants.
- Work with the Connections Director and Director of Sales and Marketing to plan and implement special events.
- Maintain necessary records and complete administrative paperwork as required.
- Follow established safety regulations, including fire protection, infection control, and equipment safety.
- Assist the Executive Chef/Dining Services Director in meal preparation and provide excellent customer service.
