About The Position
Juniper Communities is hiring a part-time Server to provide restaurant-style meal service to residents. The position is 20–25 hours per week. Available schedules include 3 p.m.–7 p.m. on weekdays and every other weekend from 7 a.m.–3 p.m.; or 11 a.m.–7 p.m. with every other weekend required and some 3 p.m.–7 p.m. shifts. Starting wage is $16. The Server works as part of the dining team, takes and delivers meal orders, helps set up meals, and assists with clearing tables, garbage, and dishwashing. The role also assists the Executive Chef/Dining Services Director with meal preparation and provides excellent customer service.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Experience in culinary arts or food service.
- Knowledge of volume food preparation.
- Knowledge of and ability to operate food service equipment.
Responsibilities
- Work as a member of the dining team to provide restaurant-style meal service to residents.
- Take orders and deliver meals to tables or resident rooms as needed.
- Set up meals quickly, accurately, and in a neat and attractive manner.
- Clear tables and assist with garbage and dishwashing as needed.
- Assist the Executive Chef/Dining Services Director in meal preparation.
- Provide excellent customer service.
