Registered Nurse or LPN - Astoria
About The Position
ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA) is hiring an Allergy Nurse for its Astoria office. The role serves patients of all ages and offers a supportive work environment focused on professional growth and teamwork among health care providers. New graduates are welcome to apply. The schedule is Monday 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Tuesday 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Wednesday 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Thursday 9:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m., and Friday 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Saturday hours are 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. when the physician has hours. The schedule may change based on the physician’s schedule. Hourly compensation is $33.09 for LPNs, $40 for RNs, and $42.68 for BSNs. ENTA describes itself as the largest ENT, Allergy, and Audiology practice in the country, with over 475 clinicians across more than 70 clinical locations in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- BLS/CPR certification.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Competence working with computers.
Responsibilities
- Administer allergy injections and monitor patients.
- Perform food, environmental, venom, drug, and chemical allergy testing.
- Conduct pulmonary function testing.
- Assist the physician with patient care.
- Handle administrative responsibilities, including insurance approvals, data entry, and restocking clinical supplies.
