About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room (OR) Circulator role in Borger, Texas. The assignment is for 13 weeks and involves working 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday. The role requires on-call duties and will primarily focus on General Surgery and OB-GYN cases, with potential for orthopedic cases. The position is in a hospital setting.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Act as the circulating nurse for operative procedures, maintaining a sterile field and assisting the surgical team
Prepare the OR, ensure proper positioning, and manage instrument and implant counts with accuracy
Anticipate the needs of surgeons and staff, select appropriate instrumentation, and monitor intraoperative safety
Assist with case flow, specimen labeling, and documentation while maintaining patient privacy and comfort
Collaborate with anesthesia, nursing, and support staff to ensure timely, safe patient care
Provide coverage for on-call periods as required by the assignment
