About The Position

This is a travel, temporary assignment for a Registered Nurse - OR Circulator in Templeton, California. The assignment is for 13 weeks and is located in a hospital setting. The role involves assisting surgeons and the anesthesia team during operative procedures, coordinating the flow of equipment, supplies, and staff, and maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period. The nurse will also participate in preoperative planning, patient assessment, and nursing treatment, document perioperative care, and support efficient turnover between cases.

Requirements

Active RN license in California (or eligibility)
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum 1 year of OR/perioperative nursing experience recommended
Ability to work a rotating 4x10 schedule and participate in a travel assignment
Strong teamwork and communication skills; ability to function in a fast-paced surgical environment
Graduate of an approved nursing program (RN)

Nice To Haves

OR/perioperative nursing experience preferred
