About The Position

Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the perioperative process. The RN will serve as a patient advocate and collaborate with the surgical and healthcare team to maintain professional nursing and surgical standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program.
• Current, active Oklahoma RN license required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and operating room standards.
• BLS/BCLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• Must be available for assigned call coverage.

Nice To Haves

• OR/perioperative nursing experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across various age groups.
• Perform patient assessments and reassessments, including pain assessment and management.
• Maintain strict sterile technique and adherence to surgical standards.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, anesthesia, and ancillary healthcare professionals.
• Prioritize and organize multiple assignments effectively.
• Support a strong team-based approach to perioperative care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow departmental policies and procedures.

Benefits

• Total weekly gross for 36 hours/week: $2196
• Hourly rate: $61/hour ($27/hour W-2 taxable, $34/hour non-taxable stipend for travelers)
• Contract duration: 13 Weeks
• Guaranteed hours: 36
