About The Position
SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide operating-room and perioperative care at the Surgical Center of Greensboro. The nurse assesses patient status throughout the perioperative episode, develops individualized plans of care, and participates in a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative care. The role supports SCA Health’s mission, vision, and values.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
- Complete Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current BLS certification.
- Complete Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current ACLS certification.
- Complete Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of employment, or provide documentation of current PALS certification, when pediatric care is included in the facility’s scope of services.
Nice To Haves
- One year of operating room and/or medical-surgical nursing experience.
- Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing.
Responsibilities

- Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
