About The Position

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room for First Coast Orthopedic Center. The RN supports perioperative patient care and works as part of a multidisciplinary team. The role promotes SCA Health’s mission, vision, and values and involves assessing patient status throughout the perioperative episode and developing an individualized perioperative plan of care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Successful completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services, within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of operating room and/or medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing.
