About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology, located in Ukiah, California. The assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC and is for 13 weeks, starting on 09/21/2026. The role guarantees 40 hours per week, with shifts consisting of four 10-hour days on a rotating schedule. The work setting is a Short Term Acute Care Hospital.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license in California
2–3 years of recent oncology nursing experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
ONC/ONCC-CHIM or Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification required
Ability to work a 4x10-hour rotating shift in a hospital setting

Nice To Haves

BSN degree preferred
EPIC electronic health record experience preferred

Responsibilities

Deliver coordinated nursing care to oncology patients in a hospital setting according to standards of care and the nursing process
Conduct comprehensive assessments, analyze data, and develop and implement individualized care plans
Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitor for adverse effects, and respond to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, social workers, and other team members to coordinate care and ensure patient safety
Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, assist with minor surgical interventions when needed, and support perioperative activities as directed
Educate patients and families about treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance; participate in discharge planning
