About The Position

This is a travel Registered Nurse assignment in Boston, Massachusetts, focusing on Hematology/Oncology. The role involves supporting a busy clinical setting within a multi-bay infusion suite. Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
BLS certification and Bio/Chemo certification required
Minimum 2 years of hematology/oncology infusion experience, including triage and phlebotomy
Experience with IV therapy and port access/placement
Experience with administration of chemotherapy agents
Proficiency with basic computer skills and electronic health records; strong communication and organizational abilities

Ongoing professional development in oncology nursing is a plus

Responsibilities

Triage calls and provide direct nursing assessment and guidance for hematology/oncology patients
Nurse navigation and coordination of patient care across the infusion program, including multi-discipline clinic support
Administer IV therapies and chemotherapy agents; assist with port placement and management
Perform phlebotomy as needed; monitor patient responses and manage infusion-related reactions
Provide patient education, discharge instructions, and prescription refills; document care activities in the electronic health record
Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe medication administration and appropriate escalation when needed
