About The Position
The Registered Nurse OBGYN Clinic- Ambulatory works in Henry Ford Medical Group’s outpatient department, providing care in an OBGYN clinic. The nurse uses a systematic nursing approach to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, and demonstrates how nursing interventions relate to patient outcomes. The role also includes patient teaching and completing training related to registration, appointment scheduling, charge entry, and other patient financial systems. The position is part of a coordinated primary and specialty care organization focused on collaborative teamwork, patient relationships, and a supportive environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
- Complete HFHS training courses for operating registration, appointment scheduling, charge entry computer systems, and other patient financial subsystems.
- Complete 1–3 months of on-the-job training.
Nice To Haves
- Women's health experience.
- Registered Nursing License.
- 2–3 years of registered nursing experience.
