About The Position

This role involves providing direct nursing care within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Saint Thomas Midtown facility in Nashville, TN. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and recording patient care plans and conditions, coordinating multidisciplinary care, carrying out physician and nursing orders, and assessing and managing patient discharge planning with the healthcare team. The position is with Ascension Premiere Staffing and requires a 36-hour work week with day and night shifts available.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
• 1+ year of recent RN NICU experience.

Nice To Haves

• Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
