About The Position
An exciting opportunity awaits as you embark on your career in a specialized neurological unit. This unit provides an excellent environment to learn about various neurological diseases while utilizing your nursing and critical thinking skills. You will collaborate with our interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting, caring for patients with conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, and Guillain Barre Syndrome. As a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and the only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in the region, we serve many acute and complex patients. In this role, you will work closely with a specialty team to evaluate, diagnose, and treat seizures using advanced continuous video EEG technology. Our multidisciplinary team values the skills, talents, and compassion that nurses bring to our patient population.
Requirements
- RN License (New York License ONLY)
- Telemetry Experience Required
- Two (2) Years of Nursing Experience
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
- NIHSS Certification
