About The Position
An exciting opportunity awaits as you start your career on a specialized neurological unit. This is an excellent setting to learn about various neurological diseases while utilizing your nursing and critical thinking skills. You will work with our interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment caring for patients with conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, and Guillain Barre Syndrome. As a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and the only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in the region, we see many acute and complex patients. Our team evaluates, diagnoses, and treats seizures using state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team that values the skills, talents, and compassion of nurses for our patient population.
Requirements
- Telemetry Experience Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) License - New York (NY License ONLY)
- Two (2) Years of Experience in a relevant field
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
- NIHSS Certification
