About The Position
An exciting opportunity awaits as you begin your career on a specialized neurological unit. This is an excellent environment to learn about various neurological diseases while utilizing your nursing and critical thinking skills. You will work with our interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced setting, caring for patients with conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, and Guillain Barre Syndrome, among others. As a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and the only Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit in the region, we manage numerous acute and complex cases. In this specialized unit, you will collaborate with a dedicated team utilizing state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology to evaluate, diagnose, and treat seizures. Our multidisciplinary team values the skills, talents, and compassion of nurses as they deliver care to our diverse patient population.
Requirements
- Telemetry Experience Required
- RN License (New York State License only)
- Two (2) Years of Experience
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association only)
- NIHSS Certification

Responsibilities
