About The Position

Medical City Plano is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Level 3 neonatal intensive-care unit. The Registered Staff Nurse plans and provides individual, goal-directed nursing care that promotes and protects the health, safety, and rights of individuals, families, and the community. The nurse applies knowledge of growth and development and the skills needed to provide appropriate care to the population served. The RN is accountable for their practice and care coordination and is expected to practice autonomously using evidence-based practices. The RN's work supports Medical City Plano's mission, vision, values, and Department of Nursing philosophy. The position is PRN.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• STABLE certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Texas State RN License or compact license.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• At least 2 years of NICU experience.
