About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse in an Acute Care / MS Tele setting. Nurses will be assigned to care for patients admitted and waiting in the ED on bed availability, either in a designated area or possibly the hallway. If no patients are being boarded, they may be used in an acute care area, though this is expected to be rare. The role requires working every other weekend and some holidays.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in Acute Care / MS Tele.
• ACLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience may be considered for first-time travelers.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients admitted and waiting in the ED on bed availability.
• Care for patients in a designated ED boarding area or potentially the hallway.
• Potentially provide care in an acute care area if no patients are being boarded.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Work every other weekend and some holidays.
